April 2009
The other night Josh Beckett came out on a roll when the Boston red Sox played the Tampa Bay Rays. This year Beckett plans on becoming the difference maker in all of the Red Sox games. There are some that say Beckett wasn’t always a 100 percent last year. However, this year Josh Beckett is coming in to the season feeling pretty good with good health. The other night against the Rays Beckett gave up only two hits and a run, also walked three and took down ten batters over seven innings. In all he throw 93 pitches for 61 strikes. On offense everything seemed to be going right since Dustin Podroia hammered a solo homer over the green monster.
